GTA Cyber launches at the GTA Global Summit in Istanbul

GTA Cyber was introduced to the Global Tech Advocates network on 7 October 2026, the opening day of the GTA Global Summit in Istanbul and the first GTA Global Summit to be held in Türkiye.

The opening day was hosted by the Services Exporters’ Association (HİB) at the Türkiye Exporters Assembly, and brought chapter leaders, investors and founders from across the network to the city. GTA Cyber was presented by founding member Luis Novella in the summit’s working groups session, on stage with Russ Shaw CBE in the same session as GTA Innovation Funding.

GTA Cyber is the network’s working group for cybersecurity. Rather than becoming another regional chapter, it draws on the security practitioners already inside GTA networks and makes their expertise available wherever in the organisation it is needed.
